I’ll be in town soon. Where are some good places to eat for dinner?

I’m looking for local places. I don’t want chain restaurants or Mexican.

We like Spahr’s downtown and Boudreau & Thibodau’s- technically in Houma, I think, so it’s 10-15 minute drive, but it’s a family favorite.

Grady V’s inside Bayou CC is pretty good, too.

Cinclare - sit at the bar, have Jeffrey make you some of the best cocktails you've ever had.

Grady V's is grossly overrated, overpriced, and atmosphere of a 80's restaurant

Is Peppers Pizzeria not downtown anymore? Its been quite a while since I've been down there.

Grady V’s is terrible
Upper casual - Cinclaire, Cuvée, Fremin’s
Seafood - Politz (hasn’t changed since 1980’s) or spahr’s, Flanagan’s (old school Thibodaux)
Pizza - peppers
Bbq - Big Mikes
Burgers / poboy - Alumni grill

While you're in town, do yourself a favor and grab some ice cream from Paddy Cake's Parlor.

Cuvee, Cinclair, or Fremin's are the only correct answers if you're looking for a great dining experience.

It’s been so long that we had a golf board meet up that I forgot he was down here. He texted me and suggested Cuvée.

We enjoyed it.

Damn, Grady V’s use to be pretty good. I haven’t been in a while. I actually like the old building. I Use to go with my grand parents as a kid when it was the country club. Great memories.
