City Pork >> Gouter IMO
Palermo
Pinettas (a little dive-ish, but the red sauce is the best in BR by a mile)

Add Parrain's to the list. Also, Gino's for Italian.

If they happen to be in BR on a Thursday night and they like Jazz/Blues music, Gino's would be great. Most Thursdays it/s Jazz/Blues, but about once a month it's your basic cover music (but still usually pretty good). If you decide to do that, I highly recommend you make reservations and specifically ask for them in the "bar."

Edit: And the food is awesome if they like Italian.

Just got back from swimming to my apartment from campus after class.

Think i'm going to give Overpass Merchant or Parrain's a try.

What are you wanting to eat? That would help clarify things.

Ruffino's would probably be my choice in that situation.

Also, for the record, khakis and polo is nice for BR.
