When I lived in Birmingham, I would crave Nola food so bad. You won’t realize what you’re missing until you move away. When I would come back home, we would go to iconic and new places every time, but the only place we would go to every single time was R&Os. That is the one place that I missed the most when I was away. That’s where I would go.

I’d eat a French meal, whichever is your favorite place. Cafe Degas, Cote Sud, Lilette, N7, Justine…

I also have a soft spot for Kingpin
My last trip around would be Casementos, Bouligny, Patois, Charlies, Kingpin, Fat Harrys, Bulldog (yeah, but you know), Parasols, Vouz, probably end up at Snake and Jakes by the time that is over.

Galatoire’s.
If I had to have a farewell to NOLA dinner that is where it would be.
ETA
It would be on a Friday. It would start with lunch and I would still be there at dinner time.

Good luck! Moved to western NY two years ago - there will come a time you will miss your favorite NOLA dishes
I moved to Chicago 8 + years ago and I thought I'd miss it more than I actually do... It doesn't hurt that Chicago has great restaurants..
I'd hit up the bar at La Petite...

I'd go to my neighborhood, casual restaurant. The kind of place they know you. I'd have a last meal, tip well, say my goodbyes.
Ended up going to Ba Chi Canteen tonight, followed by a trip to Creole Creamery.
Not iconic New Orleans food by any means, but it's just what we needed since it's been our go-to for the past few years.

Waiting on TulaneLSU’s response, as that’s the only one that matters.
