Chinese Inn (or whatever the name is) on Nicholson was still rocking before they closed the buffet for Covid, but I'm not sure if they ever opened the buffet back.

Haven't lived in BR area since 2014 but back then Oriental Pearl wasn't a bad option. Is it still around?

I think Oriental Pearl on Coursey and Sherwood is best chinese buffet in Baton Rouge these days.

Oriental Pearl is about the only one left
COVID killed what was left
Does Hunan still have theirs? Haven't been in awhile.

Anyone try Volcano? Always curious when I pass...not curious enough to try it obviously.

Oriental Pearl is ok. Kinda out the way off of Sherwood though.

We used to go pretty regularly when it was Nagoya. Last time we went it was all you can eat but you had to order off the menu. I am not sure if they've gone back to a buffet format since.

Oriental Pearl
Oriental Pearl was the shite back in the day. I used to get the to-go option and fill up a box so high you could barely close it. It was enough food for at least 2 meals.

You’re the reason the Chinese restaurants switched to smaller Togo plates. Thanks, bro.

I know all the stories of how filthy the kitchen was...but a to go buffet box from that place could feed me for several days in college. It was my go to Sunday pig out for several years.
