My favorite keto snack is a ribeye.

Agree with that assessment. I have the spicy salsa version and they’re ok. The ones I posted yesterday I like a lot more but these aren’t bad. Everyone knows pork rinds are keto, but these are far and away my favorite brand. They’re never not good. I like the salt and pepper the most.

This is my favorite bread and it’s not close. I literally cannot taste a single difference. They also have a cinnamon and hawaiian. As well as hot dog and hamburger buns. I prefer the regular but the Hawaiian is good too. And at 30 calories I would even eat it if I wasn’t doing keto.

These are my favorite tortillas. Very little difference in flour tortillas and these. Good when I want some tacos.

Anyone doing keto probably knows of G Hughes as well. He has 30+ sauces and marinades now. I had 4 in the fridge. Sweet and spicy is my favorite but hickory is good as well. Not a huge fan of the sweet chili. Teriyaki was good the one time I’ve used it so far on some salmon and broccoli.

Cut in sections. Dip in lime juice/salt. Make until crispy.

Low carb chips.

Warning, astonishingly high in fiber

Wilde Protein Chips

Purchased from Whole Foods, these come in three flavors. Sea Salt & Vinegar, Buffalo, and Himalayan Pink Salt. I’ve only tasted the Salt & Vinegar, but I will be tasting the others.

I paid $6.99 per bag, 4 servings each bag.

Please look carefully and see that the first ingredient is chicken breast!

They look like rejects from a Pringles can. They aren’t perfectly symmetrical, but they are similar in texture and weight of Pringles chips.

Salty, vinegary, and dare I say it, chickeny?!

These are really good. Can’t wait to taste the others, but these are definitely in the rotation.

DANGER, WILL ROBINSON: Each bag is 4 servings. You will have to work hard to make them last for four servings.

Where do you get that bread? I wants some

Dude that sugar free teriyaki is killer. I smoke chicken breasts on the kamado, chop them up and toss in the cast iron with sliced onions and this teriyaki. Killer!

The Thai Chili wing sauce is very good- I also use it on crockpot meatballs.

Agreed on the La Banderita Tortillas- they are great and are available in the ‘No Carb’, tiny street taco size, too.

Kroger is the only place I have seen it. Publix and Walmart don’t have it. Idk about in Louisiana. It’s Lewis bakery who makes it. Looks like you can get it on Amazon but $26 for 2. It’s either $5.99 or 6.99 at kroger. Can’t remember.

<—- @gmail.com. I’d be more than happy to send ya a couple loaves if ya want to try it out.

LINK /

That’s their website to see if there is any retailer near you. They also offer shipping but Amazon would be cheaper. I’ll send it out for what it costs to buy and ship though which I would assume would be cheaper than they do it.

The top left Keto Snack mix that you didn’t like? Same, but I hated to waste the bag because it was full of good ingredients, they just didn’t seem to be tied together, flavor wise, so I mixed in Moon Cheese, because that is what I thought was lacking. It helped, but Moon Cheese ain’t cheap, and I had to mix in a lot of it. (ETA: Run-on sentence, much?) I also tried spreading some out on a sheet pan and toasting, finishing with flaky salt.

In conclusion? Too much trouble. Pass.

But that last one, with the BBQ flavoring? Delicious! You found it too salty? I found it a little sweet, but that’s what made it tempting to reach for more.

I’ll just say I’m doing much better on my low carb eating now that I’ve stopped buying those. The clusters? I love those and the chocolate ones. Not buying them anymore, though.

I got these a few weeks ago: Hero Classic Burger Buns — 0g Net Carbs, 0g Sugar, 90 Calories per Serving

Not bad. My wife (no pics) liked them much more than I did... They're chewier than reg buns.

ETA: Expensive AF.

Another Kroger find. This is good in small portions then it gets a little chalky feeling. I like a handful of them if I need something crunchy and sweet. I have put them on top of halo top as well and they were good. They also have a chocolate version. Very pricy, at $9.99 a box. I have had this box for about 2 months now. Overall I’d give it a 6/10.

Has anyone tried these? Just ordered off Amazon. I’ve been wanting some biscuits and gravy. Reviews seem pretty good and found a good recipe for some gravy with xanthan gum I picked up this week.

The Sweet Chili sauce is great for dipping homemade egg rolls, made by rolling up some egg roll in a bowl in Cutdacarb flatbread sheets and then lightly pan frying. I’ll review Cutdacarb at a later date.

I’ve been seeing that used more and more on YouTube by low carb cooks. And it’s actually what got me wanting those biscuits. Someone made an egg and gravy bake with them and it looked fantastic but I haven’t seen them in stores around here. I’m very interested to see the review.

I look forward to that. Those are still a little high in carbs for when I'm cutting, but I otherwise like the ingredients. I try to support brands that don't load their products up with tons of crappy oils and other nasty ingredients.

Immi Ramen - Black Garlic Chicken, Tom Yum Shrimp, Spicy Beef

I’m out of Spicy Beef, so it is not pictured.

I also used the noodles in a Birria ramen dish I made:

I absolutely love that I can have low carb ramen, and I love these noodles. I should also add that not everyone does. Based on my recommendation, a good friend bought some, hated it, and now I have extra Black Garlic Chicken. I don’t think she experimented with it, though.

My first reaction was that the noodles were far too chewy and I just didn’t like them. On the second go round, I added more liquid in the form of either chicken or beef stock, I cooked the noodles longer than the directions say to, I added sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil, as well as a protein that goes with the flavoring. For the beef I have used leftover roast, frozen meatballs from Costco, or shaved beef. I have added mushrooms, bok choy, and other veg.

Pricy! Yep, if you order a six pack (variety or all one flavor), it’s about $6.50 a pack, but it goes down to $6 per pack if you order a twelve pack.

I was eating ramen like crazy at first, but I have settled down to having it occasionally, as one does.

Verdict: Try it, but be willing to experiment.

They’ve recently expanded from just being offered online to now being available in some Whole Foods stores. Recently found in the Lafayette store for $5.50ish.

Progresso Keto Friendly Creamy Tomato Soup

As it looks straight out of the can.

After topping with cheese, bacon, croutons made from low carb burger buns.

Too sweet for me, even with doctoring by adding cheese, bacon, and croutons. I did nothing to counteract the sweetness. I also don’t understand their math. It says 10 grams of net carbs on one side of the label, but the nutrition side says 10 grams of carbs and 4 grams of fiber, so should be 6 net carbs.

I didn’t even finish a third of the bowl. Won’t be buying again.

You're right, I totally missed that the nutrition label had divided it into 1 cup vs 1 can. The label says 1 can is a serving, but then they divided it into cup vs can. Weird. But an even better reason not to ever have it again. It certainly wouldn’t have been worth that many carbs.

Got this at Publix today. 10/10. Used on pork chops tonight and it was fantastic. Will definitely be using this more. I had crushed up pork rinds before but they didn’t work as good as this did. Will probably try it on some chicken next, maybe in a meatloaf too. $7, not a bad price either.
