Has anyone sold before on Mercari?

I bought a pair of Apple AirPod Pro Max headphones (over the ear)... Great audio, can't stand the fit.

Apple doesn't buy back headphones, so I'd like to try and get $200.

Because I hate 5 hour rounds of golf? Yeah, I'm a real downer.

There's one here where I live.

Dumb question- when you get fitted, is it for a specific brand of mfg (ie do they only fit you for Ping clubs)? It's been almost 20 years since I got fitted for my Pings and Titleist driver. I can't recall if where I went was a Ping fitter or I got to choose.
He can play some basic stuff... Ice Cream Man, Could this Be Magic...

My whole point was we, as fans, got screwed. Pretty much since 1996, they were toast. 20 years and done.

On a side note, I was hoping EVH would emerge in late 60s to rebound his career w/ some acoustic reworks.
In an alternate world somewhere, imagine if they all acted like adults... In 1996 VH does a tour w/ DLR and SH... Hell, like the Doobie Bros.

Both Dave and Sammy play guitar... they could've even been on stage at the same time. A 5 piece band.

Could've toured for years.

Instead, we got shite after 1996. I saw them in 07 and it was garbage.

Yeah I don't wanna drive an hour to play 3.5-4 hrs of golf. My folks were members at Cowans for years. LOVED that place.

I've thought about joining there, but I wanna be able to go hit balls for 30 min or putt around after work. That stuff you can't do when you live an hour away.

Ever play Cedarwood?

Comparing apples to poop. How big is BR's metro compared to CLT?

But to argue your point, lots of cheap land w/ lots of water.

CLT is still crap. Raleigh has better public course options, same goes for down at the MB/Grandstrand area.

Public golf in Charlotte is fantastic.

I beg to differ. It’s atrocious… the public courses around CLT are either goat tracks or are overbooked. 5 hr rounds is no way to play.

I live in S CLT and hate that I’m considering looking to join a private club.
In 2016 I was out in Seattle for a work conference. I used to smoke weed in HS and some in early college. I was a stoner. But once I got out of it (around 20 yr old), I’d rarely smoke… And for most of my adulthood, I rarely smoked weed.

Then in 2015 in Seattle I had to go to a dispensary… I haven’t smoked in forever, but the kid in me had to go see a dispensary. {Note I I just ripped a bong hit so this is a little wordy). I left w/ a vape pen. I hit it a few times and called my wife to tell her I think I may have solved my snoring issues.

I was a heavy beer drinker before that.. ie drink a 12pk of Miller Lite Fri, Sat, and drank some during the week. Even though I always exercised, my diet sucked. First I had to cut my alcohol consumption 85%. Then I had to clear my house of any snacks. Then I got into keto and fasting.

Since 2017, I’ve been a daily user and I had to learn the Jedi mind trick of not snacking while I get high every night.

But I’m so happy that i”ve cut my beer consumption. Edibles kill my craving for beer. If I drink, I’ll drink 2-3 beers, and it’ll be worthwhile… at a social event, not some random Tuesday. I treat beer like a cheat meal. I prepare by fasting before or planning to after.

I’m in my late 40s. I treat my drinking nights like Tiger Woods plans his golf events. I look at a calendar and see if there are consecutive weekends of social events… if there are, I make sure to pay back what I owe…

I’d recommend concentrates over smoking bud. Just my opinion.
Agreed. Son and I played Indian Bayou 3 weeks ago. Pretty good course.

We had a 5some one group ahead of us… at first I was a little miffed, then I was quickly reminded that I suck and my 12 yr old is just getting into golf. So that 5some wasn’t much of an issue.

One thing I was kinda disappointed in (w/ all the Destin courses) is that kids have to pay to play. Down at the beaches we go to in NC/SC, kids play for free w/ paid adult.

But still worth it.

This. Don’t stay at an AI resort in Provo… too many great restaurants to choose from. This isn’t DR or Jamaica.

It’s our favorite vacation destination. If money were no issue, I’d be down there 4x a year (direct flights from CLT make it so easy).
I can't recall where I heard this, but it wasn't the music. It was his looks.
MTV said Christopher Cross was too ugly for TV.

Well, not actually; but once MTV arrived, Cross was in the rearview.
As much as I despise most country music, the Macarena was an absolute shitshow.

I was in college in 1996/7 or whenever that song came out and EVERYONE was doing it. Bars in college w/ hotties, old people about to die in retirement homes.

It's probably the reason Bush beat Gore.
shite man, sorry.

I'll be in the same boat soon. My little guy is 14 and he's showing it. The fam is already planning for the next one.

I'm not. Once he's gone, I'm done w/ dogs. I love him so much, but every time I go on vacation I stress and feel guilty AF. And it's fricken expensive for boarding.

I've been thinking about when he goes a lot lately. Too much. I don't know what's gonna happen when he's gone.

Never understood the love for Springsteen.

I'm can't judge as I like wook hippie music like the Dead, BMFS, etc.

But music is so personal... if you grew up in the 70s and lived in Jersey, you probably had lots of good memories with the soundtrack of Springsteen.

It's the same thing for me w/ the Allman Brothers. I liked the 90s version way better than the original. I know that's fricking absurd, but I love Dickey's guitar sound of the 90s. And that's when I was coming of age... so I have lots of 90s live Allmans in my earlier life.
Wow, this is an awesome VH tune. How did I not know this was out there?

I saw them in 2007 in Charlotte... first show of the tour. Sound was so awful. Seats sucked (sold out in seconds).

That concert is one of the reasons I don't like indoor venues. Too much echo.

Preachin' to the choir, man. I was in Destin last week for spring break w/ the fam. I REALLY wanted to go see one show in Mobile, but it was too far and I didn't want to go solo and drive back.
Once Axl brought out the piano, I was out. No pianos, no symphonies; just guitars, bass, drums, and that voice.

Don't get me wrong. I love Civil War and Yesterday; but those two can't touch anything on AFD (arguably one of the best music albums of all time).
Love Just A Song Before I Go. Pretty cool that Nash wrote it on the way to the airport.

Also really like Wasted On the Way.
