Purchased from Rouses. I don’t have the price, but whatever it was, it wasn’t worth it. The best thing I made with them was croutons, but the seasoning, olive oil, etc is what made them okay. The first couple of bites of the burger were okay, but by the time I got to the second half, I tossed the bun, which really lowered the carbs!
This shot is irrelevant, but those onions were perfect!
I do not recommend. Tough, dense, blech.

I reviewed Wilde Protein Chips in a previous post but was unaware of the Chicken & Waffles flavor at that time.
I was really hesitant about this one, but the three other flavors were good, so why not?
My first impression was mixed. Sweet & salty chips? Not bad, but maybe I needed to taste again. And then suddenly, the bag was empty. Uh, I’m afraid to buy them again. But I probably will.

Sweet Baby Ray’s No Sugar Added BBQ Sauce
I bought it at Albertson’s, but I’m pretty sure it is commonly found at other stores.
I first used this in baked BBQ meatballs, which my husband really likes. We both enjoyed the sauce. He is not as used to artificially sweetened things as I am, but he had no problems with it.
The second use was in some pulled pork (sold as rotisserie pork in supermarket). I added the sauce to the already cooked pork, heated it together and added it to a bun, topped with coleslaw. The pulled pork and the slaw were delicious, but the bun was one of those from my earlier post, so you won’t be surprised to learn that I tossed the bun before getting halfway through. The sauced pork and coleslaw were better together without the bun.
Yes, get some Sweet Baby Ray’s No Sugar Added BBQ Sauce!

I got thirsty looking at that bun cross section.

This is my new favorite quick snack. Zero Carb street taco, slice of provolone cheese, sprinkle of dry ranch and pepper flakes. Popped in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes. It’s low carb cheese sticks and it’s delicious!

Cheese Fries - Halloumi Style Cheese Sticks
After deep frying, on the left, served with crawfish boulettes.
I bought the cheese fries at Aldi, and really wasn’t expecting much. To my happy surprise, not only are they aesthetically pleasing, they are also delicious! The outside got crispy and crunchy, with beautiful color, and the inside was soft and creamy. Dipped in no-sugar-added ketchup, they were a treat to eat.
Each bag is supposed to be 8 servings. I got three servings!
Oh, not because they shorted me; we just disagree on serving size. (Let’s ignore the fact that we’ve discovered one of the roots of the problem.)
I recommend and will be buying again.

We've been buying this since it came out. They have 3-4 flavors now! I'm making oven ribs tonight and using it.

I've been all in on the G Hughes Sugar-Free BBQ sauces and salad dressings.

Too Good Gourmet Keto Cookies
Eight cookies, smaller than a silver dollar, costs a little less than a dollar EACH cookie, two bites.
The taste is fine.
Not delicious.
Not overly sweet.
Soft and cookie-like.
Chocolate chip version better than lemon, which is also fine. Birthday Cake, slightly less than fine, but not bad tasting.
The question is, do you want to spend your money and/or your carbs on something that is merely fine and also expensive?
Probably not me, although I haven’t tasted all the flavors, so maybe.
ETA: I just noticed that the box describes them as irresistibly delicious. No. THEY’RE FINE.

As a relatively new type 1 diabetic (June 2021) I'm enjoying your reviews. It's definitely saving me some aggravation and $.
Luckily for me I'm not terribly diabetic. Eating regular ice cream and granola cereal and regular white bread (including flour tortilla's) I run in the mid 100's so if I cut some of those I can even get to right at 100 for my glucose count. Will see how things go after meeting liver specialist next month since my fatty liver has turned cirrhotic. (must be my liver sending me to the ER as my lipase count rules out pancreatitis as my source of nausea/vomiting/upper right abdomen intense pain).
Anyway, thanks again for this valuable service you are providing!

This keeps me from buying so many low carb/keto products.

Damn you and your Kroger finds!
I’m going to find out where the nearest one is.

These are the sweets that scratch my itch. A lot of these types of bars are hit or miss, but the Nut Roll is almost as good as a Snickers, and the peanut butter cup is really close to a Reese’s. I get a box of 20 bars and/or 40 cups at Sam’s, and they’re $21/box.

When I did the Ideal Protein diet 15 years ago, I purchased the Atkins products like these because they had the same nutritional footprint as the Ideal Protein bars, but at a great discount at the grocery store compared to what Ideal Protein was charging.

Miracle Noodle Thai Peanut Meal
Things I added in an effort to make the too sweet sauce more palatable: fish sauce, sriracha, chicken stock. And peanut butter. It needed lime juice, but I am out of limes.
The extra ingredients took it from nasty to slightly less nasty.
There were extra extra ingredients like shrimp and green onions.
In conclusion: Hell no.
Looks like I’ll be finding something else for supper.

Miss Jones Baking Co. Keto & Paleo Not Cornbread
To the mix I added diced jalapeños, shredded cheddar, and bacon pieces before baking.*
I also baked it at least five min longer than recipe states. It was probably my extra ingredients.
Although it’s not cornbread, I really like it. It’s kind of crumbly, but just a tasty and satisfying baked good. The ingredients are good ingredients, the carb count is very reasonable, and it tastes good.
I have no idea where I purchased it, though. I don’t know about y’all, but finding specific keto friendly products is hit or miss. I tend to scoop them up when I see them, and then have no idea where I got them. I’m sure it’s not old age.
*Maybe it’s not a fair review without trying the recipe as it comes and adding extra ingredients.
C’est la vie.

You can buy halloumi and just grill it in a pan.
Are those breaded and what not in the bag?
