The new brewery and taproom, which will be called Courtyard Brewing Co., is being built from the ground up at 2745 Lafitte Ave. It will open in 2020.

In Mid-City, Wood will offer a similar selection of beers, along with cider, wine and possibly cocktails. The new brewery will also open in the morning with coffee.

Will it be purposefully as dingy as possible so he and all his customers can still have sufficient cred for being authentic beer connoisseurs?

I don't think people were "boycotting" in hopes of shutting down his business. I think they just decided not to patronize his SJW brewery anymore because he's an asshat. Personally, I don't really give a shite what he does with his business. My visits to new orleans breweries will exclude this little snowflake's establishment. But to some, my decision not to drink his beer upsets others. Rather strange.

I wonder what the pairing will be with a fried baloney sandwich.

I think that it historically has been. City is trying to turn it around with the greenway. Might have to pack heat for the bike ride

Yes, that is an extremely rough area, if it's the same area i'm thinking of. Got some nice public housing in the area. I believe the barracks are around there too. I went and did a site visit for a project in that area. The job trailer was broken into 3 times in 1 month. Also, it's down the street from the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club...

And I don't think Scott can convince enough hipsters to move into that area with him to gentrify it. It's quite a large shitty area.

I guess it'll be a good place for a bunch of craft beer nerds to get hammered and robbed.

That area isn’t that bad. It’s really busy with the greenway, Whole Foods, the theatre

It’s fine

During the day, it’s extremely quiet. I’ve spent a lot of time around there.
