I live less than 5 miles from his brewery and will not go there. If people don't like that statement, tough titty. There are several other breweries in the area that I will frequent no matter how good his beer may be.

It would be the exact same thing if people didn’t visit his place because he wears a MAGA hat

“frick you snowflake, we don’t want you”

It’s all tiresome

Does not matter to me if any of y'all don't go there due to his politics. Your money, spend it your way.

I don't agree with a lot of what Scott says, and the social media dumps but does not bother me to that extent.

I'm not one to boycott businesses because of their political positions anyway.

And that is your right as a free American. I don't have anything against people spending their own money on whatever they want. More than his politics is the arrogance and childishness that he showed is why I won't go. You are allowed to believe whatever you want but when you try and bash other people that don't believe what you believe, that is where I have an issue.

no it is not. If it was your scenario, there would be physical protests of his business, go fund me's to fund the protests, he'd get sued because he was causing distress to customers, hell maybe a riot or 2.

I wouldn't call it a boycott. I only went there 2-3 times personally. I just don't plan on going there again as there are two many other options and this dude rubbed me the wrong way.

I may end up there again sometime, but I'm not going to go out of my way either.

you’re talking about a small brewery in a town with less than half a million residents

Why would a go fund me be needed, soros would bankroll all of this, right?

Eh, it's no Central City. I'd say it's an area you need to be aware of your surroundings, but so is most of New Orleans. I feel fine in that area. It's not the Broad St. corridor of old.

And let's not forget, the modern craft industry was built on breweries opening up in questionable parts of town.

that is ONLY because that is where square footage is cheap. It is not cause it is cool to open a brewery in the hood.

...that triggered a lawsuit that made its way to the Supreme Court

I don’t believe there are any civil rights lawsuits on the table here. It’s a brewer running his mouth on Facebook.

The point of the size of the business is that this would cause more stir if Tim Cook was ranting about the same things.

I understand economics. I don't understand your argument, or if you're making one. I didn't say it was cool that breweries did that.

NOPE. I didn't vote for either of the 2 main parties. Never have either.

This

I've ridden my bike many times up and down the Lafitte Greenway path and never had an issue. I probably wouldn't be real excited about walking around late at night after drinking at this location.

Wasn't there another food/drink venue under construction in this area?

I had heard something was going on behind the broad theatre but nothing definite. It’s such a clusterfrick over there.
