And yet people still support this guy. He shits all over us and the idiots flock. The beer is way overhyped. It’s solid but not worth supporting.

I wouldn't fart in the direction of that shite hole. The force from my flatulence may blow over his fancy decor he's collected over the years bouncing around in his car.

The shitty atmosphere is what I love about courtyard. Never have to worry about running into a bunch of frat strap douchebags.

Is that really a concern at any brewery or bar for adults?

This.

I know we like to criticize Andrew (Parish) for being douchy/arrogant at times, but at the end of the day, he still enjoys and appreciates the South Louisiana culture.

Scott Wood, on the other hand, looks down his nose at people born and raised and proud of Louisiana. Yes, the state has its negatives, but this dude seems to want to shite on it and its people/culture every chance he gets.

He could brew the best IPAs in the country, and I’d still rather give Parish, Bayou Teche and the others my money before him.

Isn't Andrew threatening to move his hops to H-town every few months?

No. Sugar Land closed the incentives deal last week. Relocating to SL and renaming County Brewing.

But in all seriousness, I have no idea if he’s really threatened that. Im sure gets irritated with Louisiana politics and politicians stifling free market because somebody else buys their votes. But he doesn’t spend time actually crapping on the people and the state as a whole the way Courtyard’s jackass owner does.

This. I really like that spot, it is a shame he is losing it. The beer is always better too.

The Zappa bike club called it “scrappy” when I went with them. I typically like scrappy places but this place is borderline shite hole and it doesn’t qualify as one of those classic nostalgic New Orleans shite hole institutions. It had a little more frill when the ex was there imo. Kinda went to shite after the split. In the summer it’s just way too hot and in the fall they hate sportsball so I’ll go somewhere with the football game instead. Every brewery makes juicy hazy bro now so it’s not like I need to make a special journey for beer. Maybe if he had some fancy bologna sandwiches I’d might stop by to eat but with his BS I have no desire to spend $ there. Since the KF thing I haven’t spent a dime. I’ve only been once since then and it was to buy a gun in the parking lot. Didn’t drink any beer.

A few years ago he was putting out some great beer but I honestly haven’t been back since the public fight with Kehoe about the Indian stuff. I didn’t specifically boycott the place, but I guess subconsciously I didn’t want to support him financially. I also know some people involved in the new project (or that were potentially going to be involved) and the general consensus is he’s an insufferable douchebag.

Same. And NEIPA isn't the oddity it once was, where only a couple breweries in the state could pull them off. Now everyone brews it, and for a brewery that ONLY brews NEIPA's, his time is limited.

This is fact. He is the prototypical millenial liberal. Starts social media fights with anyone that disagrees with him. Thinks only his viewpoint is the correct viewpoint, and is extremely condescending, especially towards his clientele.

People are free to patronize/not patronize his business whenever they want. Personally, i won't spend a dime to promote him or his brand.
