Everyone's favorite brewery posted this on the company's Twitter

Today we brewed what is very likely the last house IPA we'll tap at our current facility. Big announcement tomorrow. Having a beer and a quiet moment in the meantime. Cheers.

So will the new facility become the only facility?

That wouldn't be surprising. A lot of times when they attempt to add a 2nd location that is bigger and more expensive they bite off more than they can chew (or brew in this case).

I personally don't like at all the Courtyard main location.

I’m eagerly waiting what Scott has to say about that. He has said that the original location would co-exist with the new one so I’m not sure what’s going on. Also didn’t think the new one was close to opening.

Scott posted this, so I'm assuming the current location is done for

Might just mean they're setting up a larger brew operation at another location and will continue to have the "tap room" where it is

Yeah, it'd be a shame to lose the great ambiance of what they have there.

Was told that there will need to be an interim location in between the current one and the new one opening next year. I'd guess this is it.

Hopefully not far from current location, I enjoy being able to hit Courtyard, Urban South, Miel, Nola, and Port Orleans with them all being so close together.

This thread sent up the smoke signal to Scott that y'all were posting about him.

Be careful what you post. You may get scalped.

I don’t think it’s closing. The new place is still a long way off and I’ve heard on good authority that the current place is a money machine.

Maybe they’re scaling back actual brewing for the time being?

I hope the new facility will be able to support the 37 variations of IPAs that all taste the same and full of yeast.

It must definitely be one of those things where people enjoy the beer enough to put up with the environment.

Because the place fricking sucks, but the beer I do admit is excellent.
