From a business standpoint, the dude is going to put the bare minimum into that new location. I can't say I blame him if he's opening a new location soon. That being said, it looks like it will be a new shite hole with the same yeasty IPA's that all taste the same.

I can't wait for the homeless people to walk into the courtyard and harass the customers. Probably doesn't even have to redecorate from a halfway house/shelter/thrift store.

Kind of a joke, but not really. That block is fighting a serious problem with the homeless vagrants damaging property and harassing homeowners.

I’m sure Better Than Thou Scott Wood will welcome them with open arms. He’ll make sure they’re taken good care of.

Luckily for you, you can choose not to visit

It’s always funny when people who criticize others for being snowflakes, crybabies, etc. turn into the exact same thing.

Imagine being a tourist waking there from a hotel in the CBD/WHD. You’d think you’re in Baltimore.

Did you read my post or just jump to conclusions? All I said was it’s going to be another shite hole with beer I don’t care for. If that’s being a snowflake, etc then you’re not very intelligent.

Will give them stories to tell about the big city when they get back home to their dinner parties in unincorporated Jefferson Parish

About 3 or four blocks away. On the rich side of Magazine at least.

A year or so ago there was a homeless person busting windows out of cars while they waited at the redlight there.

Sure dude. You bash him for criticizing Louisiana’s education system then turn around and call his patrons idiots and sheep.

Don’t buy their beer, it’s fine.

3 or 4 blocks from the current spot? Is there really a homeless issue there? I used to work a lot around there a few years ago and don’t recall

They are one block from Calliope now. New place is half a block closer and a few blocks towards the lake.

Remember when me, you and fightin tigers tried to go that Thursday evening shortly after they opened. It was 8PM and he had already closed for the day. Seems like just yesterday...

It all went downhill once he got chairs

Beer & Politics according to TD:

1. Ignore crazy libtard pot smoking community college arts Colorado degree react first, educate yourself second keyboard superstar because “Courtyard makes top notch NE IPAs.”

2. “Boycott Parish because a-hole owner doesn’t want to be everyone’s friend and wants his business to make money we don’t care if the IPAs are competitive with the best nationally because Parish man bad!”
