Maybe there's another liquor/bourbon menu, but this one has no prices.

I've never seen a "prep fee". Maybe next time, tell them to bring the ingredients and you'll prep it at the table.

I’m not one that typically orders steak at restaurants, I’d rather cook my own at home, but as far as chain steak restaurants go, TR isn’t terrible. I’d take TR over longhorn, Outback, and Logan’s. Those are the only 4 chain steak restaurants I can recall eating at.

For that price they should be able to afford an “ed” for Old Fashioned.

Apparently, you only get the "ed" with the Rum Old Fashioned. I wonder what the "prep cost" is for that one.

Steaks most places in Ellick are crazy expensive. Guess that's why everyone goes to Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral
Piss on that.
Learn how to pick out good cuts of steak at the butcher case, then go home and cook it the way you like it.

I know no one who has eaten a steak at Golden Corral. Well, no one that has admitted it.

Prep fee? Would they prefer you prep it and get a really good pour? How in the hell are you supposed to order anything at that restaurant that doesn’t have a prep fee.

Should have skipped the drinks at Diamond Grill and went to The Tasting Room instead.

I (along with many others likely) don’t believe soda water belongs in a proper old fashioned but to each his own. My wife wasn’t amused but I have had to swear off a nice local restaurant because they refused to serve one without the soda water.

Diamond grill takes fricking forever and I think that's their plan. "Hey guys, relax and have several $20 drinks why we take a stupid amount of time to get your food"
Diamond Grill Alexandria.

We do. I cook 98% of the time when we're in Ellick. I've never even been to Texas Roadhouse or GC. Their parking lots sure are always full though.

I only posted because I thought this way of charging was odd/unusual.
Not only have I never seen a additional prep fee, but 19 bucks for a Woodford OF is ridiculous.

These types of comments are always obnoxious. People enjoy going out to eat sometimes. Yes, sometimes it would just be easier or better to do it yourself at home. And yes, it’s going to be more expensive going out. Shocker, I know.
