Great list of additive free tequilas
When you are talking additives, think of cooking something. If you grabbed apples and made apply pie its pretty good... full of sugars and flavorings to make it good. But if you were to select apples right as they ripen and make the pie it could be amazing and not require a lot the things you add to force it to be good.
Thats what happens with tequila. Some distillers just mass harvest agave and force flavors to get a good taste. The good distillers like the ones above, wait for the agave to ripen. They slow the process down and make a quality product without having to add things to make it taste good.

Saw this at Costco and grabbed it. Enjoyed it on ice.

I know this one isn't on the same level as what you're asking about but for a good budget tequila (usually around $20-25) I'm a big fan of this one.

Yall are going to give me shite for this, but the new Kirkland's reposado is dangerously good.

If any of you are on instagram, you should follow luifern. Most of his content is about tequila, which ones to buy, and drinks you can make.

I believe Hokus has it. Get ready to drop some coin.

Good article, but I hate that it's promoting Fortaleza. It's already very difficult to find this now! :shh:

I purchased this bottle the other day to make margaritas at home. I had no idea what tequila to get at all.

for margaritas and bloody maria's this one is fine and we use it often; for me, premium tequila is for sipping neat only

Nah. There are many good cocktails that benefit from a quality tequila (or mezcal for mezcal cocktails).

I agree there are some that do, yes. My comment about "neat only" is just my use
