Popeyes tenders are better than Canes.
Pre-battered, and frozen.

Most of the time when I order a 3pc tender from Popeyes, they toss in an extra tender.
Or, give you something completely different from what you ordered.

Nope. Had a box yesterday first time in a while and was great.

I finally got one that were almost chicken nuggets last time though. They were the smallest tenders I've ever gotten from Canes.
I noticed that different locations of Cane's will have different size chicken fingers, based on their food provider. The Cane's on Lee Drive actually serves decent size chicken fingers (Performance Foodservice is their provider aka Reinhert), whereas the location on Siegen often looks like they are serving nuggets (I am not aware of their food provider).

The distributor has nothing to do with the size of the tenders. They are just the middle man

Sorry Baw, you can’t say anything good about Canes in a Canes thread. You know the rules.

The last few times I've had the Canes in Gonzales it's been surprisingly good, big tenders

Has the Bojangles in Albany opened up yet?
It's supposed to open on the 13th or 14th of this month if there are no hiccups.

In my area, Cane's tenders were of a lesser quality from about 2022 -2024. In fact, I haven't eaten at Cane's in about 6 to 9 months. However, I took my grandsons last week, and I noticed a vast improvement in the quality of their tenders.

All I know is when we have a family gathering we order a 30 count Canes in addition to other food and the Canes is always gone. Grandkids love it and Cane sauce is delicious.

Bailey's was better!
I was just thinking about that place and couldn’t remember its name for the life of me. Loved their fries.

people have been saying this for the past decade
By now the fingers should be so small that they don't exist. The Canes hate on here is tiring.

I can’t imagine having Cane’s for lunch then going back to work

Not as tiring as the endless threads about them in general. I'm constantly amazed at the amount that people talk about chicken tenders.
