Best chicken salad I've ever had...

Calvins Bocage Market

anyone know how to make it?

seems to me it has a slight cheese taste or sour creamish taste, but I could be way off.

No eggs. Meat seems to be food processorized.

Calvin's was my favorite until I tried Shelby's Chicken Salad. Now Calvin's sells Shelby's chicken salad, salad dressing, pimento cheese spread, and a few other items over there close to the Calvin's chicken salad section.

Some have tried using a pack of dry hidden valley ranch mix and said it's pretty darn close

If you can find the Swansons chicken salad mix it is exact. Mayo, mix and process in food processor.

Zoes makes a pretty good one as well.

Yup.

Food process a rotissirie chicken..... I usually season chicken heavily and smoke/grill.

They use full fat Hellmann's Mayo which is probably where the tangy flavor is coming from.

No it's not. It's hard to find but my wife bought three packs at Calandro's last week. It's a dry mix buy the canned tuna and chicken.

yea I am not a pimento cheese spread fan, but my husband loves it.

Also, I agree that Zoe's chicken salad is good too.

Somewhere, somehow, someone must be a fan or that crap would become extinct.

Pimento cheese sandwiches are delicious...At work, we used to buy a big box of assorted finger sandwiches from Southern Belle and go to town with them. Some of the pimento sandwiches even had raisins in them.

I had the Shelby's pimento cheese and it's pretty good. I like to spread it on toast and bake it bit. Cheese melts and the mixture gets puffy and a little golden.

The Shelby's betta chedda is okay, too, but pricy. Not as good as Langenstein's or my own.

Yes I bought that, the chicken salad and Shelby's dressing. It's all really good. The Betta Chedda was good on ritz crackers but not wheat thins IMO.

I like it on anything, including my finger.

The ingredients are few and it's really easy to make. That little carton was close to 9 bucks, if I recall. I could make a lot more for that price.

Hell yea it was $9. All of her stuff is $9. She's all high falootin'! And you don't get that much either, but damn is it good! I couldn't eat the Betta Chedda alone, it was rather sharp
