If the group ahead is keeping pace, especially with an early morning tee time, I agree with not letting a group play thru. It may allow your group to play faster, but slows down play for all groups behind. On a busy day, that causes issues the rest of the day. ...

Course I mostly play has alot of holes where a driving iron off the tee goes the perfect distance and easier to keep in play....
