Very interested in doing this. Someone at work once said they thought you could buy dough directly from restaurants.

Anyone done this? Cost? Quantity?

If I could buy directly from Pizza Domenica, I’d be thrilled!

Pizza Delicious may be able to help.

Trade Joe's and Whole Foods usually work.

Call a local pizza shop and ask.

Many will.

You can, My neighbor does it pretty often, cooks the pizza on his BGE.

you can buy it from Reginellis and before people flip their shite, they get their dough from La Louisiane bakery in Elmwood.

Whole foods has the dough but stay away from the whole wheat. I got the whole wheat because they were out of the regular. I have seen pizza dough at Rouse's.
I have a pizza stone and does everyone put corn meal on the stone to prevent from sticking? The corn meal is a mess, it gets everywhere.

You can buy them for i think .75 a piece and in a case of 20 at sams. Go to where they serve the pizza, pretzels, dogs, etc and ask them. I use them to make pizzas in the ceramic and they are awesome!!! If i knew how to post pics I would.
If you cut them in half, you can make thin crust like some of the restaurant pizzas.

I've always used semolina flour, not cornmeal.

Go to Ancora or Wood if you are doing high temp. If you are not doing hi temp, it is a lot easier to just do it in the oven and then you can go with any dough.

Tried it once when I didn't have time to make my dough in advance. My son wouldn't even eat it.

It is not hard to make your own, just takes a slight amount of planning. I prefer a 3-day fermentation in the refrigerator. Plus, it freezes pretty well, so you can keep an emergency supply that just requires a few hours notice.
