Flame broiled is way better

If you don’t mind waiting 5-10 mins extra if you’re in a state where BK lobbies are open you can request fresh meat. BK stores patties in a heated container where you don’t really know how long they’ve been there.
A double whopper with fresh meat is a very solid burger IMO.

McDonaldsnis hard to beat when they’re on their game.
The in by BRCC is really good. You can’t beat their fries when they’re cooked and seasoned right. Just can’t be done.
Burger king burgers always taste like lighter fluid.

I haven’t eaten at a BK in 20+ years, but I’ll own this: I stop at MCDs 2-3 times a year for a McRib when they’re in season. I don’t know what exactly it really is and I don’t really care. They’re pretty damn tasty.
Forgive me. And let the downvotes begin.

Let he who has never been at a low point in life and scrounged up just enough change to enjoy a sweet, savory, slightly squishy McRib cast the first stone.
When you’re broke as shite, sometimes the tiniest little meal can make you feel like a king.

It's 3.99 plus tax on Uber eats right now. Still too high, but your price doesn't sound right for just the sand which
Stopped at the same McDonald's this morning and the SEC McMuffin was $4.69 plus tax which was $5.15. I got a McMuffin with just sausage and cheese that was $1.75 after tax. $3.40 for them to add the egg on there
Before covid the sausage and cheese McMuffin was on the $ menu and I could get one with a dollar bill and a dime.

BK, all day.
And the Ch-King is a damn good chicken sandwich. With a damn awesome name.

Burger King for the hamburgers
McDonalds for everything else

I agree. But BK is never made fresh or correct. The service and product is garbage. So McDs wins easily by default.
End thread.

I had a BK burger a couple of months ago. Before that I hadn't had a burger at either in 10 yrs. In fact that may have been the first BK burger I've ever had -- if I've had one before it was so long ago I can't recall (I've been there for breakfast a few times).
I generally avoid McD's burgers, since a disgusting experience with some about 15 or so years ago resulted in an hour spent barfing into the toilet. But a few years later I had to eat at McD's or go hungry until suppertime, so I took a chance. I survived.

I haven't eaten anything from either one in a long time.
I remember BK having better burgers if that means anything but the last time I had one was decades ago.

Burger King in Winnfield is GOAT BK in Louisiana
Most other locations are so ghetto and poorly constructed the burger is a mess, cheese not melted, etc

I don't eat either of those but I'd pick McDonald's just for the fries. Both burgers suck.

BK in Denham at Juban is awesome!
Such a refreshing change, a good burger and good service.
The BK on Bluebonnet near Burbank is pretty solid also.
I don't know of any other good ones in the BR area.

Generally speaking I prefer a good triple cheeseburger at McDonalds. That being said, Burger King is dramatically better with different, unique offerings like their sourdough king, rodeo burgers, etc.
They both have their place. If I'm just looking for a normal burger though, it's the triple cheeseburger at McDonalds every time.
