Honestly, that policy trumps any considerations of the product itself. When the hell did this place become a policy-centric corporate borg?

I’ll ask and see if they do it. If not, will walk away. I absolutely hate mindless corporate crap like this and refuse to enable it.

Surely that'll show 'em. You go!

Yep, just like a Shell or Exxon. It’s just a gas station.

Brisket is OK. Unless things have changed it gets shipped to each location everyday.

The brisket is fine, but the bread sucks IMO.

It’s worth getting if you’re already there and happen to be hungry. No more, no less.

It’s a Texas cheesesteak burrito, and it’s the best thing there.

And it’s very stupid that they make every single sandwich drenched in some sauce and refuse to make any without it.

Is the brisket sandwich worth a stop for a Texan who lives in the culinary wasteland of northern Minnesota and whose standards have slipped precipitously?

When you put it like this the answer is definitely yes.

Not sure if they have it at that location but I love their burritos. All flavors.

I wouldn't go out of my way for it but it's worth a stop if you're passing by. It's top tier gas station food.

If it's time sensitive, you'll be eating in the car, right? Not sure that brisket would be the way to go, because it'll be messy, and you may need a restroom sooner than you'd like.

Their sandwiches that are chilled (Italian, etc.) are easier to eat a couple of bites off and not be messy every once in a while while you're driving.

I asked one of the working ladies, she said, how many, told her just one. As we get to the area, she tells me I’m in luck, they just had one left.
It’s great for driving, one hand and off you go!
