My favorite is their melt.
This, the turkey sandwich, cheesesteak and breakfast burrito/tacos rival any fast food or qsr food.
It’s still in the category of fast food or qsr so I’m not expecting terry blacks

You are better off stopping at a McDonald’s. Circle K’s new hot food delis at select locations shames Buccee’s.
You should be above such hyperbole Ignatius
Wawa is delicious though

Got the sliced brisket one. That was the absolutely fattiest bbq sammich I've ever eaten. I mean some slices were just fat, no meat. The meat slices were filled with fat. Taste and bbq sauce was fine but fat fat fat.
Well, at least they have a sparkling clean shitter for you to download that fatty sammich when it runs through you.

Pulled pork always seems to be a bit better and less fatty than the brisket.
Try the burrito. You'll thank me.

Thank you. I guess when he eats red gravy and meatballs, it's over "pasgetti".

If it were a Louisiana based company, it might be better gas station food.
It’s a shame how texas tries to copy our traditions like bbq and can’t get them right

Did you hold your pinky up when you took a bite. Sure it wasn’t made by a hipster with some offsets and a wall of Unobtanium bourbons behind the bar, but if I’m running down the Intertstae at 80mph and I want a quick choke and puke it’s top notch. …

I've had Obtainium, not Un. Not a bad price high proof, was ok. Wait, what the hell is this thread about?

Not that you had much credibility at all with me, but this very statement here assures me that you are nothing more than an internet troll.

Get the chopped brisket it's great
Had my first one a few weeks ago and this is what I opted to get.
I mean, the meat was tender. The sandwich was warm. Pretty good for a gas station, I guess? That sauce though....seems like it's basically corn syrup with some red and brown food coloring added. Sweet enough to be unpleasant.

I prefer the sliced brisket sandwich at Buccee's because of the sauce being overpowering on the chopped. At least in my experience

It depends on which buckees. The one in Luling TX is really good. The one in Katy, not so good. The one in Baytown better. The one in Gulf Shores ought to stop calling it brisket!

Pretty sure it’s processed and then shipped to each store, so you’re getting the same brisket.

Their turkey sandwiches are awesome. Never tried the brisket because brisket on a sandwich is usually hit or miss on how much fat is present. Regardless, much better than McDonald's or Burger King.

This.
They do not cook the brisket on-site, but rather contract out for it. So it can differ from location to location. I have tried the brisket sandwich in three locations. One was so full of gristle and fat that I threw it away after a couple of bites. The other two were probably the best gas station brisket sandwiched I have had, for what that's worth.
The turkey or even the fried chicken sandwich is a much better choice to me.

I have a had the slice brisket sandwich about 5 or 6 times, and its always been good. Not fatty at all.
