My favorites are Blantons, Jefferson Reserve, Four Roses Single Barrel.

I also like Makers, Buffalo trace, Woodford and crown for daily drinkers.

Any suggestions based off of my favorites that I should try? Looking for something between 30-50$ a bottle.

Worst I've ever had was Bookers fwiw.

Funny you say that as I was just gifted a bottle. I like it a lot. Not as sweet as some bourbons.

To the OP, look at EH Taylor and Michters. A little pricey but I like a lot as well. As info, Woodford is my standard. Makers as my well brand

As blasphemous as it sounds, this Alabama bourbon is damn tasty.

It come in just under $40 where I buy, coast MS, so there's not much risk to picking up a bottle.

Anyone else tried it?

FRSingleBar is one of my favorites. Have you tried Angel's Envy?

Elijah Craig and Eagle Rage are two others I like along with the ones you've mentioned.
I also always have on hand a bottle of Wild Turkey 100 proof.
For the price it can't be beat.

It is good stuff. Not made in Alabama though. I’m 99% sure they source it from Heaven Hill who makes Elijah Craig and Henry McKenna. Get a bottle of Henry McKenna 10 and see how they compare. Might save you a few dollars

Strange-arse marketing that begs the question...why? (I bought it in spite of the Alabama connection, just wanted something different from Woodford, Knob, or Makers)

Will try the McKenna, thanks.

Was coming to post Basil Haydens but I see I was late. Eagle Rare is also a great easy drinker. I also enjoy Stagg Jr which I don’t think was mentioned

I got a bottle of Stagg Jr. for $50 the other day, and it is pretty good. I like the ones you mentioned, so you'd probably like Jr., though it is a bit higher proof (129.5).

It is said to be essentially a younger version of the more expensive George T. Stagg.

My favorite.

Basil Hayden's is also great as mentioned.

Stay away from the TX crap if it's made it's way over there. It's garbage.

Bookers is the worst I've ever had. But to each their own, I appreciate the suggestions!
