Would you ditch the gas grill and use blackstone exclusively or is there any benefit to keeping both if you aren't that into cooking?

I rarely grill anymore. But I do have a Weber kettle, and use that when I'm smoking things. If my options were a gas grill or a griddle, I'm choosing the griddle almost every time.

Really like the bacon press
Also use the spatulas, tongs, dome, foil grease trays, cover & carry case
No issues with any of their products

If you can find a wok lid at an asian store it works great and is big enough to cover a good bit of surface area.

That’s exactly what I use. Good call.

That looks like a good set up Morbid - any chance you could give me the hook view?

Cover for the grill
Long handled scraper
Dome for steaming
Burger press
Bacon press
Rings for eggs
Pancake batter dispenser

The long handled scraper is a must. Everything else makes good, practical gifts in lieu of the shite you usually get but don’t need.

Same, but mine is built in with no room for the big bucket like our clown friend made.

I got a couple of different sized buffet steam table pans and drilled holes in the top for drawer handles. For less than the price of one Blackstone brand steaming lid I made 2. The largest one made from a full sized steam pan can cover a full 1/3 of my 36"blackstone from edge to edge. The 1/2 pan is large enough to cover 4-6 hamburgers.

I got the Members Mark full-size griddle from Sam's, it actually came with a scraper that works really well.

I'm going to ditch the trap all together. It will be about 15 feet off the ground on my deck, and it can all fall down to the ground as far as I care.

Figured i'd just bump this one

Blackstone apparently has heard the grease cup complaints.

Upgrade your rear grease management system 2.5X with a larger grease cup and liner! The liners also come with a lid so you can easily avoid any oily spills and messes. This new system also comes with a grease gate that will slide over the grease trap and keep any large chunks of food from falling to their ruin.

Includes:

Larger Grease Cup
Rear Grease gate
Disposable Grease Cup liners with lids (Qty 5)

I don't have a Blackstone but from my days in the kitchen on a flattop I couldn't do without a Hell Handle spatula - the stubby one with beveled edges

Same rule as a cast iron. Light coat of oil after you cook with them. Do that and rust isnt a problem
