My favorite is the lengua (cow tongue) taco at El Limon on Jones Creek.

The chicharrone at LaMorenita on Florida at Wooddale with cilantro and onions is pretty damn good as well.

La Morenita has several good options, and the aforementioned tongue tacos are legit. Mr. Taco has AYCE street tacos (10 different varieties) for $9.99 on Tuesdays which I really enjoy as well.

Oh, man that's a tough one. But I'd say the .99 nacho cheese double decker at Taco Bell right now. I mean dude, it's a taco.

I like mr taco and agave blue down in pville. Agave has some good tongue tacos as well. I'll throw out there that their tamales are damn tasty too.

La morenita and Mr Taco

If you go to La Morenita, it's best to know bare basic Spanish.

I had a great breakfast taco from Iverstine Butcher awhile back, but I'm thinking you're looking for something a little more "authentic" so I'll go with Mr. Taco.

I love the Calypso at Rum House. Flank steak and guac.

... has never had a real taco, yet thought it was a good idea to come on the FOOD board and be a smart-arse about someone asking for taco recs.

Take that dumb sh!t to the OT, dude.

The one on the right is the best taco I've tried, no matter the city. I've eaten tacos all over the world and I'm dead serious.

The price is right as well. $1.00.

I know Run House isn't too popular here, but some of their tacos are pretty damn good.

Fried oyster one is great.

What about that place on the corner of Burbank and Gardere next to the gas station? They had pretty good tongue taco's, but they have a new sign out front now. It's called Lenny's I think. Is it still the same place?
