I usually do S&P and then add some other spice (e.g., Tony's, garlic seasoning mix, etc.). Just curious what others do.

Italian dressing. Marinate steak in it for 24 to 48 hours. Sear on hot skillet for 6 minutes a side, then microwave on high for 4 minutes.

Why won't this dang thing let me give you five or six up thumbs?

I might add Ketchup mixed with Hinds 57 and grape jelly on the plate

A little Lea & Perrins Worchestershire and some Cavendars Greek Seasoning is all I use.

On quality steaks, I use only slightly and pepper. If I am cooking something like a sirloin, I will sometimes use Daddys Hinkle's wet and dry marinade. It's good stuff.

I use Montreal steak seasoning. I also must have sautéed bell peppers on my steak.

99 % of the time I use Kosher Salt (or Sea Salt) and fresh cracked pepper.

If you're looking for a "mix" of some sort, Emeril's makes a very good steak rub.

I rub in fine red pepper.

Then sea salt and black pepper as a "coat". Let it sit in the fridge like that for two hours before searing in butter.

If any of you are familiar with the "Jane's Krazy Mixed-up Salt" spice they also make a steak seasoning that's really good. For some reason the only place I have seen it in a store is in the grocery on Turks and Caicos. Probably will order some on Amazon today.
