hat is true... one time I found some organic black bean soup that was incredible. they also have some self-serve crock pots of different soups. The crab & shrimp bisque was heaven.

Where was this Pablo? I must have some Bisque. The place that I used to get my crawfish bisque was robbed and the owner killed.

Dude you won't impress this girl by stopping for takeout. Look up a recipe, go to the grocery, buy some ingredients, go to her house, and make it for her. If you can't make soup you are freaking retarded.

There I just got you laid if you can close on it.

The best soups in BR are:
1.) The Brie and Crab soup at French Market Bistro... especially when accompanied by a focaccia square and olive mix.
2.) The Chimes' Shrimp and Corn Soup
3.) The Pho at Little Saigon.

I like seafood gumbo at Franks by Cortana and the gumbo at Jambalaya Shop on Old Hammond by Drusilla intersection.

If no place is open or easy to get today, you can try one of the frozen soups by Chef Folse at Albertsons. Not like at one of the good places mentioned above but not bad either for short time frame.

Hunan's hot & sour is very good if you catch it early in the day when all the flavors are fresh.

It's a short drive from BR, but the crawfish bisque at Gulf Net Seafood on hwy 621 in Prairieville is unbelievable (I heard). I saw it the other night when picking up my order and tried to order a cup, but they only sell it by the bowl ($16 a bowl). I will get it next time.

The lobster bisque at Sullivan's is awesome as well!!!

Just outside of baton rouge. Bisque of curried pumpkin, crawfish, and corn (Latil's @ Houmas House). Best soup I have ever had.

Any of Sammy's soups are good. Crawfish and mushroom or shrimp and corn. Along those lines.
