I might be the only one in the world but I use turkey sausage when I boil for just the family.. It's not greasy, doesn't over power the crawfish and sucks up seasoning well.

It literally does not have to boil. Just put the stuff in when you put the crawfish in or cut the fire.
Exactly. Put it in with the mushrooms and celery

There are a half dozen or more brands of sausage in South LA that shite all over Conecuh

not sure what you are running your suck about? I love Conecuh sausage. I could GAF if it was made in Russia. EABOD's sister fricker.

Best sausage on the market is Manda After the Boil. Incredible. Grill it and it tastes unreal.
Where do you buy it? I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Looks like there are two of us. Ekrich skinless. Hopefully the word doesn't get out. I like not having to search for it. I also put 4 or 5 hotdogs because the kids request them. Change of pace, I'll do Lil Smokies.

Surprised no one has mentioned Veron’s. When I was searching TD last year for this very same question, there were multiple threads claiming Veron’s was the answer. I can’t disagree.

Not sure how this got downvotes. Down Home shits all over any sausage in South LA

Richard's or Savoie's here. Both do well in a boil and won't break the bank to buy.
I make my own sausage, but prefer to use that in dishes where the taste of the sausage really counts, like gumbo, beans, jambalaya....

For me it’s the cheap mass produced stuff you wouldn’t use for many other reasons like hillshire, mandas etc. whatever is on sale.
