The best stop in Scott. If I had never heard of it before going years ago, no chance I’d go in

Best Stop looks perfectly fine to me. Mighty upscale compared to most similar stores in the south .

Mondo Burger from Mondo's on the way to Fairbanks.

In the middle of nowhere, just looks like an old western bar on the outside...couple pool tables on the inside.

Great burger

The first was in Jamaica. Bus trip excursion, leaving Rick's cafe, dude on the roadside had a 50 gallon drum that looked like it still had oil in it outside his shack cooking jerk chicken. Daddy got a plate and still to this day have never tasted better chicken in my life.
This right here. Rice and beans (peas) on the side...amazing.

Can you say Pinetta’s

Expected this place to be much better than it was. And that damn sauce got on my shirt and absolutely destroyed it.

I was in some mountains of Mexico - I asked where I could buy some food - the locals told me up the road by the church - a little kid ran to get the woman - she brought out a chair from her house so I could sit at the table outside - there were dogs, cats, goats, and pigs everywhere - and an obnoxious parrot

Best damned tacos I’ve ever had

Leatha’s BBQ

I’ll add Hoover Food Mart. Best Thai food in Birmingham.

Serious question.

Are the shrimp that good that it is worth the risk of life?

Serious answer.... yes. They are deep fried so it will kill all the bad stuff plus they been doing it for years. Trust.

Fried fish and fried conch in the Bahamas. I’m sure the place / shack had never had a health inspection. But wow could they fry some seafood!

Maybe it's not a ***horrible*** looking place, but certainly no flashier than a dimly lit corner store is Compagno's Deli in Monterey, CA.

That place is phenomenal.
