For French press, I use a Jamaican blue blend from sprouts
I tried buying beans from sprouts, but they didn’t taste fresh at all. No telling how long ago they were roasted since they just sit in those giant containers until they get sold.

I'd like to look into getting a grinder and french press soon for my weekend cups of coffee. I hear that's night and day difference from k-cups.
Grinder, absolutely.

Community black out of a regular drip coffee. I do not have much use for gourmet coffee. The "better" it is the worse I like it.

Then you should know it has a lot less to do with the beans than it does the brew/method used
I may have misunderstood your comment.

Gevalia French roast is my daily go-to. Community dark roast used to be my favorite, but it's too expensive up here so I started trying different brands and Gevalia was on sale one week so I tried it. It's so good.

Illy decaf whole bean
Manual grinder
French Press
Cream no sugar
I have to drink decaf for medical reasons, and it’s hard to find a good decaf coffee

It's right at eye level down here where I shop. Don't have to break my back.
