I doubt it's been mentioned. But I'd go to OMI.
Order everything that everyone said. It's all good.

Should you need an option that is not Omi then the answer is Dim Sum.

I've heard good things about Omi, but never been. I'm partial to Geauld Tigers on Chimes Street.

I've been pretty partial to China House One on coursey. Ever since the first time I went there, I'm convinced the cashier is a wizard.

This was my exact conversation on the phone the first time I ever ordered from there.

CH1: "China house one"
Me: "yes id like to order the sesame chicken dinner"
CH1: "ok see you ten minute."

Never asked for a name or phone number or anything.

I walk in and there are probably 4 or 5 people waiting for their food. I see another 5 or 6 bags on the counter waiting to be picked up. Before I could even say a word she looks at me and says "sesame chicken dinner. That will be $7.84"

I, for one, welcome my new Chinese overlord.

Favorite dish at Omi. Definitely best Chinese in Baton Rouge.

Casual/family. I've gone in shorts many times and felt fine.

All of the suggestions made earlier in the thread for dishes to order are on point. Honestly, though, I've never had anything there that was bad just stuff I didn't like as much as other dishes.

Enjoy!
