I'm heading to Sherburne South Farm soon to check things out. Note (my understanding) you will need a WMA access permit ($20) and probably a fishing license ($17) to use South Farm.

We went last week- the sign says: "Self-clearing permit required for all users" (this is the piece of paper you fill out- it doesn't cost anyything)
"LDWF license or Wild Louisiana Stamp required"- I assumed my fishing license counted, so that's all I had with me.

We had a few big ones, but most were pretty small. I plan to bring waders and go further out a little later in the season. We brought home a sack. We used Beef Melt and 24 drop nets. Melt lasted long enough to pull a sack in. Honestly, probably would have done just as well with half the nets and running them more frequently.

When you are signed in as an editor, look on the left nav menu for Appearance and choose Customize.

Lok for Site Identity (it could be under Header).

You should be able to customize the logo, site title, etc.

I have the option to change the icon- but that's the favicon for the site.
I've changed out headers, etc. It is none of these things. I'm about to pull my hair out!
I did all of that, but it's the one thing not changing! It's driving me up the wall!
Loaded Teas were huge all year last year. I still feel like they are pretty popular, but coffee places seem to keep popping up.

Wordpress website help needed

When editing a Wordpress website, WHAT is the circled part called?! It isn't the header, isn't a menu, isn't a widget that I can find.
I'm losing my MIND trying to figure out what this is called so I can change it.
I’ll be in NY/NJ for a conference and I’ll be extending the trip by one day so that my friend who has never been gets a full experience. I’ve managed to work in the Staten Island Ferry, Statue of Liberty crown tickets, and a Rockefeller Square night before our full day of NY.
Her bucket list still includes the World Trade Center and Times Square.
I’m looking for suggestions on the best way to spend our day that includes those two stops.
Our date is Dec 3.
Any NYC peeps that can help us out?
Is there a public access area for Little Lagoon or the canals around it? We hit the pier this morning for several hours abs caught nada. Might plan to try Bon Secour if possible.
Anyone have any crab honey holes? We’ve been to the weir where we usually have luck, but it’s overrun by gators. I’m trying to take my kiddos somewhere to have a little more success.

These were fried and I first thought they were sardines. She said they were similar to perch in taste. I’d love to give them a try!

Smelt Fishing

A friend of mine was talking about frying smelt fish and her pictures looked like fried whole minnows. Do we have smelt in Louisiana and call it something else? I’d never seen this before.

It’s been a while and very sporadic! Decided to see if the board was still useful! It is!

Chances are that white stub out you see got soft and broke. You should be able to pick one up at Autozone to replace it.

Winner winner chicken dinner. How can we remove the piece already there? We can’t get the white thing off.

I put fresh orange blinker fluid in before we left, so that’s not it.

No no no, it started spewing smoke, but didn’t send us to another point in time, so I’m pretty sure it never worked properly.

Help- broke down

This hose came off and black smoke started up out of a Chevy avalanche. Any clue as to what this hose does?

I agree. I’m going to assume they maybe switched out the original words with “he died”.
WE GOT IT!!!!! Second half:

The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form…

It's a Jefferson Davis quote. Thank you guys so much. By piecemealing it together, I was finally able to get enough to search and actually get results. :nana:

If so he was a captain in the Officers of Company H (Chickasaw Guards), and was killed at Gettysburg on July 3rd (other records show July 4th).

That's the one! My mom is trying to figure out what the tombstone says for Father's Day.
