wings at Red zeppelin are awesome.
I agree with TJs...
But red zepplins must be very hit or miss. I've had them twice. no flavor and not cooked long enough. they bake the wings at RZ

BW-3. Back when they had one store. Back before genetically engineered Frankenwings, back when Wild sauce was still hot and if you ordered them "wet" they came slathered in sauce for no extra charge, back when the Buffalo Chips were actual slices of real potatoes deep fried and covered with (thoroughly) melted cheddar cheese. Back when wings were 10¢ each on Tuesdays.
They were so mouth-watering good with that tangy, spicy sauce. On Tuesdays the line stretched out the door. Nothing since has come close. Now they're just a hollow corporate shell of their former greatness.

For a fried wing, if you are in the Baton Rouge area and haven’t tried wings of glory on airline in the barringer complex, you are missing out. Naked with drunken bourbon sauce, or the Cajun, or wet lemon pepper, or Asian sweet chili, spicy honey...mmmm. They have some really good sauces and dry rubs, and they fry them pretty damn good too.

Neither. Have you eaten there? Or are you just a smartass with nothing to add? I really like chicken wings. I eat them pretty much anywhere I go that has them. I just happen to think they do a good job of them there. Admittedly, I haven’t eaten the breaded so I have no idea how those are, and they don’t have a smoked wing, and I really like a good smoked wing.
Is this what we’ve come to on this board? When someone gives an honest review of something they like and a prick like you tries to derail it?

Outback and TJ (especially) do have very good quality and flavorful wings. I love them.
However, it’s a shame that neither has a step up in heat - if you like a little pain with your wings, these won’t do it.

Tried a few at Just Wingin It. a few weeks ago. the garlic parm and jerk wings were pretty good. I'm more of a plain fried wing with no sauce person. But, decided to give them a shot. they were messy but, good.

The Central dry rub wings are my favorite, but Sunday my sister in law had some of their sweet heat sauced wings that were really good. Been eating their wings for 15 years, and I think Sunday was the first time I ever had any that weren't the dry rub

We took a road trip to California when my daughter graduated from high school. We stayed in El Paso and had wirings at a place called Track One. They were incredible. Another great wing place was a jamaican style joint in St John. The jerk wings were incredible.
Locally, Blue Oak is always good and when Old Rail first opened, their asian wings were awesome.

Dak and Bop - Houston
Ate there for the first (and so far only time) a couple months ago. Was delicious. I need to go back.
The ToreOre in Chinatown is sooooo much better than Dak and Bop.

I'm sure ill get beat up for this... but TJ ribs smoked wings with blue cheese dipper is the best wings ive had.
Not really. They're really good. One of the best things on their menu.
If we're talking all wings of all varieties, though, the best for me is the Blue Store on Mills Ave.
