On 1989, you could spend less than 40 $ on a date and have a great time. Afternoon drinks at Happy Note, oysters at Chimes, and them live music and drinks / sandwiches / fried cheese at The Caterie
Sunday afternoon at the Gator Bar , where all ages and classes of BR mixed and mingled.

Yes. All the way in the back. Ironically, I was living in those apartments when it burned down.

The demise of Lava Cantina bummed me out. They had a nice rotation of bands and I liked the cute little redhead behind the bar.
