The burger at The Gregory is one of the best I've had in town. I'm glad you reminded me of that.

Maybe not the same anymore, but the double cheeseburger at BRQ and the SoLou burger (different from their standard burger there) are both awesome.

I will be the one to say it...but Hooters has a wonderful burger. I prefer it to Riverside Patty who has a terrific hamburger.

I said it!!!

Walkons gets shite on this board but their burger is pretty damn good.

The double bacon cheeseburger from Juban location is my go to burger in the area. Corporate location just doesn't taste near as good, but that was years ago.

Flemings is/was always solid, haven't had it in a while.

I really need to try that SoLou and Superior burger.

Favorite burgers are Riverside, 5 guys, and Atomic Burger.

I would include Burgersmith, but they are so god dman inconsistent. A good burger from there is probably a top 5 burger I've ever had, but I haven't had a good burger from them in 5 years. I try it every once in a while to see if they figured it out, but no luck. Their cook at the perkins/acadian location must be mentally deficient. I've resorted to ordering it well-done the past few times because I've had issues with it coming out rare. This has done absolutely nothing so I dont even know why they ask how I'd like it cooked.

Totally agree with this.

Griffin Grill and Top Notch daiquiris win in Ascension

ETA: Snos burger is pretty damn good too. They used to have a sourdough bun as well but I think they got rid of it

Seems like the best burger you can get here is one made at home

Just make Oklahoma onion burgers at home. They are awesome.

I’m glad someone has tried this and it’s good. I see it on the menu, but always end up getting something else. I’ll get it next time I’m in there

I always thought the burgers at Mason’s were pretty good but that was over 10 years ago when I still lived in the area. Haven’t been back to Mason’s since.

You forgot no sushi either in BR. There is no food in BR that compares to _____________ (place city you’ve traveled to once here) and never will be. May as well give up.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but J Alexander's (yes, I know it's a chain) has an excellent burger.

The same used to be said for Fleming's (another chain) when they would run their bar bites --- is that even a thing now?

A long time ago, Superior Grill used to have an excellent burger. Don't know if that holds true today.

One more local, but it's been a while since I've been is Mason's Grill.

Nothing like a $30 burger once you get a drink and pay tax/tip.

That’s without having a margarita. A burger and large margarita is $40+ before tax and tip.
