I'm sorry, but if this story is true I would definitely tell Anthony's deli to go frick themselves. That dude had no business showing up at the funeral home. It's funny how everyone on here automatically took the deli's side just because they make a good sandwich. Bunch of sheep.
That being said, the new location is probably less than a mile from my house and I can definitely get down on some good muff.

I love Pokie, but Anthony has the best meatball sub/poboy in town.

Technically, while Pokey will glare at your credit card and refuse it, there is an ATM on site.
Anthony's will gladly accept your credit card themselves.
Also, to whoever said that the locations are only 4 or 5 miles apart, they're a world apart. Two, if you count going all the way from third world to first world.
Can't wait for that first day I can just call in an order and fifteen minutes later be back in my house throwing down some tasty sandwich.

Yes I have eaten there once. I had an Italian sandwich. It was very good. I will go back.
Also I should note the guy running the place was extremely friendly unlike that old dude on Coursey.

With all the hype I was hearing about the place, I ordered like two dozen cannolis from them on the phone, thinking they made them fresh. Nope. They were factory made, frozen shite. Another time I bought some Fontina cheese from them. They assured me it was made in Italy. Frick them. After I got it home, I read the micro-printing on the label, and sure as shite, it was made in France. Frick them.

went by Anthony's new location today and it was NOT open. dudes were working on the front door and I didn't want to get in the way. Everyone will have to wait a little longer I guess.

I love Anthony's. The Godfather is my favorite poboy in BR. I've also had great service everytime I went there.

Anthony's is incredible. Where might this loser's comments be found?

Anthony lets his family run it while he does other things. He's a great guy, very funny and very interesting to talk to. He used to come visit with me at my office, I haven't seen him in awhile.
