I bought these for the first time, just for a quick lunch/bite. They came out pretty good. I simply did salt/pepper & Montreal Steak seasoning, black iron skillet with butter in it. The butter was to keep the Montreal from burning.
I don’t have a gas grill, and I don’t want to fire up the charcoal for a couple burgers.
They make good patty melts.

Any other recs on these.
I know I’m gonna catch shite for even having these, but I bought them for one purpose, a quick bite.

I've heard good things about those. I believe they have grass-fed ones too for the hippies.

I get the Sam's version and they're frickin' great. Don't let anyone shame you. There's nothing better for a quick, high end version of a fast food burger.

If you're looking for a quick but tasty struggle meal. Use them as Salisbury steaks, with some powdered gravy, instant mashed potatoes and some frozen peas.

They're good. I think they also have an Angus version. That's the ones we get. My two teens eat them as a quick midweek meal they can prepare themselves.

If you aren't in a hurry, toss a few in a slow cooker with a bottle of Jack Miller's BBQ sauce. Instant Acadiana fundraiser burger.

Great to keep around. As you probably know, as it is written clearly on the bag, cook them from frozen. I throw a couple in a non-stick skillet for my kids now and then. I think a skillet is the easiest and best way to cook them.

They indeed do. What I want to know is where are all these cows that are not grass-fed? Every cow I've ever seen has been eating grass.

one of the few cases where the Sam's Club product is better:

The best ones at Costco and Sam's are "Angus" burgers - precooked. 2 minutes in the microwave. Delish.

1/3 Pig Stand Hot, 1/3 Grape Jelly, and 1/3 Sweet Baby Ray's . Your fundraiser will never be the same !

what is going on with the food/drink board today? One guy wants to know what beer he can swap for bud light and this now asking for suggestions on how to cook a hamburger patty?

We need an M-dog recipe thread stat

People gotta eat and drink even when they don't have time to be fancy. I am sure some filtered tap water will be find to replace that Bud.

These things are OK, I use to use them when I had to grill for hundreds at work events, never really bought them for myself but they do the job. Its too easy to take a handful of ground meat, hit it with some salt and pepper and press it in a cast iron skillet. Takes just as much time as a frozen job, so that is what we do at home if we need quick burgers.

Not if you don’t have fresh ground beef in the fridge. That’s the point.

They all eat grass and hay. For some, that's all they eat and those are called grass fed. In most cases, small farmers will fatten up a cow that they are going to butcher with corn and possibly soy protein pellets for the last few months.

Feed lot cattle probably eat a lot of grass before being shipped off to the feed lot where they are fed a special diet designed to put weight on quickly. It can contain all kinds of stuff.

I know, bubba. Have family that raises cattle. I was being a bit cheeky. I definitely prefer grain finished beef.

This is what small people (aka ankle-biters) got when they visited our crawfish boils in SoCal. I'm not going to prep good burgers from scratch when the main course is crawfish.

you know they went to Hulk Hogan first and he turned it down. Like a 200 million dollar mistake.
