Agreed, got it Labor Day weekend and made some vanilla ice cream to make floats after seeing it mentioned on this board a few times. shite was awful. Tastes like someone mixed shitty beer into terrible root beer.

Yall know this shite is made by the same people that make Four Loko right? So there's a target demographic in mind.

It was refreshing the first time or two I had it. After that the sweetness became overpowering...

Cenla is full up with it, head this way and get it. We must be on special allocation from the teeny tiny craft brewery.

It tastes just like root beer. I don't know how you couldn't like it if you like rootbeer. I can see how you can't drink much of it. It's pretty sweet.

I found some at Albertsons on College. All fired up and barely made it through the first bottle. I have always loved root beer. This tasted god awful. It was like I was drinking a bottle of Potpourri. Brought it to a buddies and left it.

Agreed. I had a sip of one, and that was enough for me. Just tasted bad all around.

Is there really a huge demand for this stuff?

Just get root beer and add a shot of vodka and you'll be close enough.

I've seen it at most grocery stores and bars in Nola.

Where specially? I've tried rouses and Winn Dixie both said they have trouble getting it from Coors and when they do it sells out within a day.

Well, there´s a market for twisted tea, and all that shite.

Some (many) people are amazing.

At least one Rouses in Metairie has a whole bunch of the 6 pack cans. Saw them last night.

It's funny to me because on Friday morning the "manager" of the alcohol section at the Rouses on Power said there was a shortage of this stuff and no one anywhere was getting any of it. I found that hard to believe. Later that night, in Oxford, MS, I took this pic:

That was just a third of what this one particular Walmart had in stock.

Yesterday, I was in my local Rouses and came upon this:

Not as much as in MS, but obviously they are still making it abundantly. I still say the distributors in LA are trying to limit supply to keep demand high, although I can't figure out why they think that would be a good idea.
