Do I believe he does everything there 100%? No. I also don't believe he can produce as much as others think he can. That being said, look at how much Abita does with their set up. I'm not aware of any other place they brew and they still service a lot of markets.

did you just completely ignore this

They secured a deal to contract brew Not Your Father’s Root Beer at City Brewing in La Crosse, Wisconsin. There appears to be some squishy relationship with Phusion Projects LLC, the makers of such delights as Four Loco, Moskato Life, and Signature Cocktails. The brand has apparently been sold wholly or in-part to Pabst Brewing. I’m sure the Small Town guys made a pretty penny on the deal.

His equipment is literally better for handling sewage than it is making beer.

The picture in the linked article shows the brewery using PVC piping to transfer wort to and from the conical fermenters and kettles.

PVC starts degrading at around 140F and even at normal temperatures can leach chemicals into the water/beer passing through it.. This doesn't begin to cover the fact that it's probably a breeding ground for bacteria.

SO yes, his PVC piping is literally better suited for use in a sewage system than a brewery*.

*unless it's the sewage system for the brewery

This thread has me me laugh so much. These shite town Brewers have marketed a crappy product and know very little. Reading the "brewer" talk about his grain bil made me I personally lost it when he denied using extract but acknowledged using "malt powder".
