Was driving my grandparents to see my grandmas brother in Florida a few years back. They got hungry and wanted to stop at fricking Arby’s.
Grandma ordered a side salad and the worker looked at her like she was retarded and told her they don’t have that anymore…
They felt bad for her so they just put a bunch of lettuce, a few tomatoes, some pickles n onion slices on a plate with a sauce packet of ranch for free

get the sentiment of the thread, but McDonalds selling “healthy” food is an automatic loser for them because people don’t go there to eat healthy food.
Yep

I think the anti fast food folks are more annoying than the people that shovel it down everyday

Makes sense. Healthy people don’t eat at McDonalds.

I’m not a fat frick, I’m a healthy weight frick. I love McDonald’s. I don’t eat it often, but when I do I damn sure ain’t looking for a salad. Stay in you own lane.

I’m sorry you have the fats.

i am sure to be mocked but my wife and I liked their Southwest Salad if we wanted something quick and not greasy.
I guess we can go to Walmart or Publix for their premade salads....

It doesn’t because I don’t eat it.

Yeah, their so-called healthy meals are just as gross as their regular offerings.

If you want a good salad, Chic fil A has a grilled chicken market salad. Packed full of fruits and veggies. It's pretty healthy unless you saturate it in ranch dressing.
Also, sometimes I'll go to Arbys and get a big roast beef sandwich just for the roast beef. I usually toss the bun and eat it with a salad or some other veggies.

I know when I’m craving a salad, McDonald’s is the first place that comes to mind

If you wanted a healthy salad, why would you go to McDonald's?

So…they are discontinuing the Fish Filet Sandwich? What am I going to do now? My doctor told me I needed to eat more fish to improve my cholesterol levels. I have been ordering the double fish just so I could be extra healthy.
In all seriousness what menu items were considered healthy at McDonald’s?

Article says 90% of the US goes to a McDonald's at least once a year
They clearly didn't poll the OT.
Nobody here admits going in the last decade.

This is gonna sound crazy, but the unsung hero of healthier fast food options is actually Taco Bell. At the very least, you have the option of something reasonably healthy in a pinch. Their power menu bowl is a great choice, especially if you modify it to your needs, and it's tasty. You can modify their tacos to use chicken instead, add lettuce/tomato/guac, etc.
McDs healthy items sucked arse.

No one goes to McD for ‘healthy’ items
Its a place where you go to cheat, or if you want something quick
I’d love to slap the exec who thinks putting ‘healthy’ items on their menu is a good idea

I am a little bummed they won’t bring the Egg White Delight McMuffin back. It was pretty solid.
Didn’t realize they’d stopped that, haven’t been to a McD’s in a while.
