5 when I was a kid. 4 when I was a teenager. Somewhere between 2 and 3 now.

Depends on the cut. T-bone and ribeyes I go with a 3. Porterhouse, since it’s more filet, I go with 2.

Anything more than 3, you'd be better off having just ground it up into hamburger meat. Congrats, you just killed all the flavor and cooked out all of the good shite.

2 for most cuts but some you gotta go towards 3.

But any classic steakhouse cut give me 2
