My lack of mavenosity disqualifies me from rating such things. However I'll add that I thought the Spring IPA was quite refreshing.

I lol at all you nola dbags hating on Abita.
I was down there from Thursday -Sunday went out three nights... Every place we went from the quarter to Katie's to beer garden to the fricking racetrack is overwhelmingly Abita beer on tap and or cans/bottles..
Fwiw amber, restoration ale and Abita light are all underrated.
Jockomo sucks, the strawator sucks and andigator is another least favorite.
I have zero problems with a big cold purple have on tap.

probably because Abita has been around much, much longer than all the other breweries in the state.
Abita distributes everywhere. Pretty sure Abita is the only LA brewery that distributes out of state.

Fwiw has nothing to do with how long they've been around... Abita gives best deals .. That's why most bars give them preference.
