Is Travis Kelce the only TE worth a shite in fantasy this year?

Seems like if you have Kelce you own a huge advantage every week at an extremely thin position with most players being blockers and completely irrelevant for fantasy purposes

Dalton Schultz in ppr may be okay with Rush as well because all he does is run 8 yard curls and then falls down once he catches it.

This. You can place wagers, but one week of data isn’t conclusive

Friermuth is interesting. Leading receiver and target share for Steelers. Would be valuable if he was a top 2 target there

Logan Thomas got a good bit of targets yesterday coming off a torn ACL. I bet he'll look like a bargain here soon.

Waller was decent against a good defense

Serious question- How much of andrews production last year was due to playing with backup QBs that didn’t chuck the ball deep or to the outside, and just relied on andrews?

Wel the trade off to drafting Kelce is that you are missing out on other skill players in the early rounds. TE has always been a big gap in terms of the top producers vs the rest

This is why Andrews was a fade at his ADP

quote:

Mark Andrews splits per game average in 2021 with Lamar Jackson & Tyler Huntley

with Lamar (11 games):
8 tgts, 5.1 rec, 67.1 yds, 0.5 TDs (PPG 14.5)

with Huntley (6 games):
11 tgts, 8.5 rec, 103.8, 0.7 TDs (PPG 22.9)

Every year I have an irrational optimism that Tyler Higbee will be worth a damn and every year I am disappointed.

Kelce lowest total over the past 4 seasons would’ve put him as WR9. Highest would be WR4. He’s a cheat code that’s been the most common player on championship teams over that span

And that was with Tyreek. Now Kelce is the undisputed #1 receiver in KC.
