Trump and Harris don't control abortion. That's between the judicial and legislative branch. The president can make a suggestion, but can't actually DO anything. Women are stupid.

And this is why Trump should have sucked it up and invited Nikki Haley into the campaign to address that issue alone. She should have been used to calm down the fear for the female voters. She would have pulled in her supporters as well as lessened the fear the Dems promoted about a national abortion law.

Last I checked abortion wasn’t on the ticket it has been rightly placed in the hands of the states. If these baby killers want it that bad then they will have to vote it in on the state level.

Out of curiosity, were women told to lie when getting polled? Because abortion has consistently been down under 10% as far as importance, and no higher than 5th or 6th in rank of issues voters are concerned about (and usually in the 8 to 10 range).
More people are going to vote (or not vote) based on their pocket book this election.

This is actually the point I used a swayed a few family members. I simply asked them "why in the past 50 years of RvW being on the books did the Democrats not take the opportunity to codify into law while they held supermajorities? Simple, because then they would lose their best tool to manipulate you with and lose the only winning issue that they can campaign on"

The problem is that abortion is argued on the extremes.
You would think that the only two scenarios are that a perfectly healthy full-term baby is born and they chop his/her/ze/zim's head off OR a 14 year old girl dies of some complication because she was forced to carry the baby of her 7 foot tall, 400 lb rapist who is a gang member with an IQ of 63.
There is a compromise and it ain't that difficult. The Democrats DO NOT want to codify Roe v Wade. They want this issue on the table because it is the largest single issue voting block that they have. If they codify Roe v Wade, they would be screwed.
