Bring Professor Cornell West into the administration as a voice. An advisor

Nothing in policy making. Certainly not cabinet. I'm not saying anything like that.

He's a classic liberal. Not a rabid leftist tyrant type. He has bad ideas, sure. And he has good ideas. Listen to the good ideas. Wave off the bad ideas.

He's a good guy.

It would be an olive branch to millions into the future.

I like where your head is at, but Cornell West? There has to be a better option out there.

The thing is people elected Trump because they want a new voice. They want someone who relates to them. As far as the olive branch...pfffst.

And oh, where was the olive branch for the J6 people?

Why?

He's been making the rounds at conservative universities, and he is treated well there and he is a good person. His heart is truly in the right place.

Again, I'm not advocating giving him policy powers. Just advice and from the hip opinions.

Yeah maybe so. You seem to know more about him than I do so I'll defer to your judgment

It wouldn't be an olive branch to the authoritarian Left but an invitation to whatever tattered remnants of Classical Liberalism are still out there.

Plus, he looks like that guy from The Roots, who I like.

You should listen to him on Jimmy Dore's podcast. He is legit dumb. Jimmy was trying to help him and he wasn't having any of it, zero reflection.

Good points.

Was West a rabid J6 voice?

I just know he's welcomed by Hannity and he's welcomed at conservative universities.

We have Tulsi and RfK. West is a radical race baiter that’s whole life revolves around equality, race and class.

No thanks.

I'd second that. If anything for a VALID counter-POV and avoid policy making in an echo chamber.

He's a better voice for his community because he talks about what systems/policies need to accomplish rather than saying what he thinks people think like your typical race baiter does.

In short, he wants to see govt/programs accomplish specific goals, not speak for people he's never met.
