Do you think this crushing defeat causes the Democrats to reset their message

and come back to reality and give up all this DEI BS and hate/fear mongering as an election strategy?

Of course not. They'll triple down

Never
It’s always someone else’s fault.
You don’t invite millions of foreigners over the border, incite riots, and have the country’s best interest in mind.
They don’t care but they want you to have the blame.

It’s not them it’s all the racists

They can’t. They have gone all in on identity politics and gender bullshite. To do so they would have to cast aside portions of their voting base.
The democrats chickens have come home to roost.

I’m more hoping the victory will cause Republicans to reset their message
No more printing money because it makes people happy
No more throwing cash at ukraine for the kickbacks

Nope. Double down. It wasn't them that is wrong, it's 65M people.

It's going to be interesting to see what they do about Latinos, they thought Hispanics wereon their side, and that's obviously not the case anymore.

What are they gonna do, talk about the issues?
All they have is “republicans are nazis”. They’re not letting that go.

No.
Saw some people posting that Kamala lost because she didn’t run enough on trans, Palestinian, and immigrant issues.

They will prob be more willing to shore up the border now that they realize Latinos aren't buying their bs
Posted on 11/6/24 at 5:43 am to Snipe
No...they are too far gone...they jumped the shark...

It’s the hill they want to die on.

This would require them to be rational beings.

That was part of it, but don't get it twisted, most of this is just how bad a candidate Kamala was.

I truly hope so - if this doesn't do it, then nothing will
With the huge number of GREAT LEADERS sitting on our bench, they are bound to see that their 'pick 6' oriented offense is not going to succeed any time in the foreseeable future unless they completely change the rules of the game.
They have NOBODY on their bench - nothing but absolutely loony idiots with a power-hungry itch.
We NEED a morally stable 'opposition' party - where actual DEBATEs over real POLICY issues are held on an even plane.
I would not trust an absolute LOCK on the electoral process going forward - we would invariably descend into the depths of evil self-gratification that doomed the Democrat party over the past 50 years.
I WOULD like a couple of elections with FAIR debate on equal terms

A few will. Joe Manchin types who eventually quit.
It will take someone like Bill Clinton (who deep down is opposed to the loony left) to start the discussion.
