Solo has had nothing but good things to say about the franchise and the city. I honestly wouldn’t mind signing him to a vet min. He’s a good guy in the locker room, a great interview, and not a bad team defender for end of the bench

I don't dislike Solo, and i've said i think he gets a bad rap. He wasn't worth his contract, but he was a good player before his leg injury that really affected his performance on the court when he returned.
He was a really good defender, the Lebron stopper if you remember.

Windy on The Jump today said flat out we are waiting for Ty Lue.
He mentioned that Griff knows the Pels are not in pole position for him and has done his homework and talked/interviewed others in the event Lue goes elsewhere. He mentioned these are the 2 names to watch other than Lue:
SVG - Who we will interview this week.
Jamahl Mosley
Other ppl that griff talked with or interviewed according to Windhorst:
Darvin Ham
Will Weaver - Also a candidate in OkC.
David Vanterpool

He’s mentioned Weaver a couple times the last week.

I mean it makes sense for Lue to explore other options. If you know you have an offer on the table with the Pels, you can use that as leverage for other jobs. Seems like Lue has all the power in this situation.

If I were to bet how the current openings shake out
Clips - Lue
Rockets - JVG
Pacers - Finch
Pels - SVG

Andrew Lopez on the radio with T-Bob says he believes the 4 finalists are Lue, SVG, Kidd, and Unseld Jr
Says the focus is on Lue and SVG, though.

Kidd’s mere presence(if ultimately accurate) in a final four search worries me about Griffin’s judgement.
From every angle possible it’s a bad move. Coaching, culture, PR.
I mean what could go wrong hiring an organizational Balkanizing, egotistical, wife beating coach that’s largest claim to fame is coaching a team that played better when he left and happened to be the assistant to the champions....The latter part gives me flashbacks to Gentry(who at least to his credit actually found some high success and you could directly identify what specifically he did for teams he was an assistant on)

I 100% agree with you here.
The bloom has come off the Griffin rose a little bit.

I’m good with either Lue or SVG.

I choose to ignore the other guy.

Honestly the only one I am actually sold on from that list is SVG.
Unseld I’m still a bit skeptical on, but I could be convinced.

No. It could just be helping a friend out by keeping him in the final four. We have no idea how seriously Griff is considering him.

JVG met with Houston today and will continue meeting with them tomorrow. Hmmmmm

Yeah, that's a good sign for JVG, bad sign for Lue.
We didn't hear anything from the Clippers other than they interviewed Sam Cassell today, so I guess that means Lue is still the front runner there. The Clippers' backs are against the wall, they can't afford to be cheap, they have to pick whoever they think can get them back on track.
