Overnight Business Class Flights

What's your strategy on clothing? Are you just wearing something that you would be comfortable sleeping in to the airport? Or do you bring something to change into once on the plane?
I've got an overnight flight to London coming up. I'm not a fan of wearing sweats or looking like a slob in the airport, particularly when I arrive. I'm thinking I'll just bring some comfortable type lounge wear pant to sleep in.

My theory is who gives a shite?
I'm there to get to another point on Earth in comfort.
Wear whatever is comfortable.
If this airport thing bothers you, change once on the flight.

Slightly easier for women than men....a tunic/dress and leggings is comfy and not sloppy looking. For a guy, try hiking pants with some stretch--lots more comfortable than jeans, and paired with a jacket, looks way better than sweats.
I'm not changing clothes in an airplane bathroom unless absolutely necessary. I do like very soft stretchy socks for flying, as my feet tend to be cold and swell on long flights.

The last couple overnight flights I have been on they offered us PJs in first class

I wore shorts and a T-Shirt and then used the provided blanket to cover up if I got cold.

I usually just bring a t-shirt to change into on the plane. Depending on where you're leaving from, London is a relatively short flight and by the time you get done with the meal service, you only have 4ish hours of uninterrupted rest. Now going to Asia or the ME is a whole different story and I would definitely recommend a change of comfortable clothes

I usually wear a button down and jeans to board and change into a sweatshirt and shorts after dinner to sleep in.
I'm just more comfortable in my own clothes over the pajamas they offer.
Depending on breakfast service I'll change into another shirt and jeans before or after.

This. Did it a few weeks ago and just wore blue jeans and a polo shirt. I think I got 3 hours sleep but it does help.

My trips to china take about 25 hrs from Memphis to destination. I go comfortable and couldn't care less what others think.

If you have status, most of the major airport have arrival lounges you can use when getting in if you must work immediately on arrival.
But always go comfortable
But always go comfortable

The people who care what they look like in first class are not the wealthy ones, they are the wanna be's. The truly wealthy dgaf. So who cares? Your happiness over other people's thoughts.
Given that, I rock golf pants and golf pants basically only to europe. They look nice and are de-wrinkle very easily, but more importantly they are light and super comfortable. Easily can sleep in them. I mean they are made to be good looking pants for performance. I'm not personally at the baller level to need anything nicer, but I've brought a blazer for a nicer dinner with them.

I truly do not care what I look like in an airport. If I'm going to be strapped in a seat for hours, I am going to be comfortable. I'm typically wearing some Nike sweats and a long-sleeve tee.

I go comfort all the way. I usually wear gym shorts and a long sleeve dry fit short.

I just wear normal clothes (pants and a button down). Especially to Europe. It's not like you are on a 16 hour flight.

I'm with you on this. I usually wear khakis (almost always am wearing khakis infact) and a T shirt at the airport. (Nothing to do with airport/flying. I just don't "dress like a slob" when not at home). If flying Biz, I change in-flight if the flight is long enough (if i can get at least 6h of sleep). At this time, you can request the flight attendant to make your bed while you go change. I usually make my own but I'm low maintenance. First class you get PJs.
Depending on the airline you are flying, you may get PJs in biz too (if you are flying any of the US carriers or BA, they don't provide PJs in biz).
Basically, dress as you would in economy. Don't have to dress up or differently just bec you are flying biz.

Check to see if your airline offers a departure/arrival lounge with the business class ticket. If so, change in the lounge prior and slob out on the plane and then shower and change once you land.
