Honestly... not completely sure yet other than my Mom is bringing a ham.

I'm going this afternoon to see what I can find. It's obviously too late for a whole frozen turkey, so I might switch it up and do smoked chickens instead.

Or if I can find turkey breasts, even frozen, I can start them in the sous vide this evening to thaw/cook partially and then inject and finish on the smoker tomorrow.

Or we might switch it up entirely if I see something else at the store that looks good.

Going small this year since mother-in-law canceled the family one. Wife, kids, and one of wife's co-workers.

Small turkey, brined and roasted.
Dressing and giblet gravy
Sweet potato casserole
Mac & cheese
Roasted brussel sprouts
Squash casserole
Rolls

Wife's co-worker is bringing dessert, so not sure what she's bringing. Hopefully pecan pie.

Arse posted the recipe here once and I made it a while back. You're 100% right. It is a brick. Our family loves it.

I must have missed that recipe. Will you share?

My mom's recipe:

For each pack of Macaroni you need:

1 pk of Long #7 Macaroni
1 stick of butter
1 cup of milk
1 egg (whipped-scramble)
1 lb of Velveeta cheese(box) (grated)

Boil macaroni.
Place cook macaroni in baking pan.
In separate pot, boil milk, add butter, add cheese (continue to stir so it does not burn) add scramble egg and continue to stir to it is all mix up.
Take off heat.
Pour mixture over macaroni and make sure it mixed well in between macaroni
Bake @ 350* degree for about 45 minutes

I make this every Thanksgiving but not this year. Only feeding 3 and I'm not home for leftovers.

Thanks. On the video, the guys mentions cheddar cheese, though it looks more like Velveeta or American cheese. They also layer the grated cheese between layers of the pasta and then, it looks like they poor the milk and egg mixture over the top. I need to watch that again.

I follow the recipe above, but make a few changes:

- Velveeta doesn’t grate well without turning to mush so I just tear it up
- I use spaghetti noodles instead of long macaroni (I dont like the texture of long macaroni)
- I mix the sauce with the noodles instead of just pouring over
- I top the dish with grated cheddar

It will be hubs and I alone because I can use my health issues to not have to travel and all of my kids are coming for Christmas. We were going to order take out but at the last minute we decided on steaks, potatoes, and day drinking. It will be glorious.
