Asked in Tech forum, but thought I'd ask here too. Looking for some recommendations on Bluetooth headphones for running, working out, etc. I’ve been using Bose SoundSport 4-5 times a week for a few years LINK, and they have been really solid, but recently upgraded phones without a 3.5mm jack and the dongle that I keep misplacing is getting annoying.

Heard good things about Jabra Elite Active 65t but fakespot is a bit concerning and looking for some first hand experience....TIA!

I don't know what kind of phone you have, but I have a Note 10 with the Samsung Pods. I've had to send them back twice in less than a year because the volume is faint in one of them. Their waterproofing isn't very good so I assume sweat is whats causing the issue. The compatibility with the phone is really nice, and they've accepted both pair back after like 5 minutes on the phone no questions asked. However, for $150 its ridiculous that I've had to send them back twice.

Tldr; I like the actual Samsung pods as far as sound quality and compatibility with my phone, but im not sure they can hold up as workout headphones.

I have apple Airpods, Beats Solo 3s, and the bluetooth Bose SoundSports and the Bose's are my favorite of the three.

Bose Soundsport Free. Love em. I’ve learned to just never skimp on headphones because I’ve had so many issues with them crapping out in the past.

Aftershokz. Bone conduction technology. If you are a runner they are great and leave your ears open to actually hear things around you.

I’d recommend the Powerbeat pros...but the charging system pisses me off fairly often. Great headphones for the gym though

Jabra active from Costco refurb. $100 and are just as good as Apple stuff. Wife spent the money, I read reviews. She will buy the Jabras when hers break in a few months.

Wife and I both just bought a pair of the jaybird vistas. We both love them for running and the gym.

Powerbeats Pro, integration with Apple as they now own the company and much better than AirPods for exercise imo

This is critical. I run a lot and wouldn't run on public streets with anything else.

Jabra Elite have “hear through” sound which takes sounds picked up by the mic and sends them into the speakers. This basically amplifies the background noise so you can hear while listening to music.

Yep, that’s a pretty cool feature, and it works as well as advertised. I’ve also taken to running with only one of my Jabras in. I don’t have any issues hearing the traffic around me or hearing the podcasts through the Jabras.
