I'm done with Habitat for Humanity

Been volunteering with HFH for over 10 years, working on new builds, community cleanup, and renovations in mostly poor black communities.
Last year after Floyd's death, I attended a ceremony for a house we built for a young black single mother. The speaker started talking about racism and white privilege, I was so disgusted I had to walk out.
Then got this email message today saying they need to be more diverse. Mind you every build I have been on has been almost 99% white men working on it, not counting the family who are required to work a certain number of hours (usually black or hispanic). I guess they don't want my volunteer time (away from my famoly) anymore because it isn't diverse enough.

I want to know if these people are doing this shite to themselves on their own accord or if they're being conned by these "consulting firms" into doing this shite out of fear of having a PR campaign against them.
Why organizations would alienate large swathes of the populace to virtue signal is beyond me, especially an organization that's almost completely reliant on volunteers.
ETA: After a quick google search of non-promotional HFH photos, it seems the overwhelming majority of volunteers are white people. These people are fricking morons.

What will they do when they have no more volunteers of supplies/labor?

So how much charity money is HFH paying to Diversity Crew for their "work"? The new money laundering trend among liberal activist orgs is to transfer funds from tax deductible charities to individuals under the guise of services paid. This is why you have so many liberal "charities" constantly moving money around to other "charity foundations". Every time they do it they can lauder money to individuals.

Lol. Contractor my dad did the electrical and plumbing work for in the past had a very diverse concrete crew.
Dads crew roughed in the slab per the plans and the kitchen sink was in the garage per the strings.
They pulled a 100 ft tape measure on it and the concrete forms were two feet out of square. The house was basically a parallelogram. They couldn’t even get started.
Contractor made them come back and fix it under the supervision of the contractors right hand man. Then he tossed their number.
This is probably what a load of diversity brings in. But what they want… they get.

You’d think these morons at non-profits would realize that when they usher in communism there will be no need for charities. The government becomes the one and only charity.

Is the e-mail you posted, the one you are talking about?
I'm sure like every organization, Habitat can use more volunteers. If 99% of the volunteers are white men, then that's a pretty depressing statistic for women and minorities. Volunteering one's time and talents is something that everyone should do.
I think it's great that a group like Habitat wants to get more minorities involved in volunteerism. Our entire country will benefit form more people being volunteers.
Also, I've volunteered with Habitat here in NOLA... and no way was it 99% white men. It may be 90% white but a good mix of men and women, especially considering how many college groups they get to help.
What's going on in Cincy?
That ceremony was unfortunate and pathetic. But having more people of all stripes volunteer is something we should all push for. And that can be done without pushing you out.
